    I Marine Expeditionary Force

    Cpl. Aaron A. Bennet, a heavy equipment operator from 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion places barbed wire around a newly constructed observation post in Helmand province, Afghanistan, Dec. 18. A total of two observation posts were constructed as a part of their mission. The OPs were placed in specific areas were Marines have encountered many roadside bombs, to prevent insurgents from placing more IEDs.
