Gunnery Sgt. Samantha Edwards leads approximately 250 Marines carrying the Big Flag onto the field of Qualcomm Stadium at San Diego, Calif., during the pre-game show at the 38th annual Holiday Bowl, Dec. 30, 2015. The flag, weighing 850 pounds, spans the entire field and requires a minimum of 250 people to support it while unfurled. Edwards is with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. The Marines following Edwards are with I Marine Expeditionary Force at MCB Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
