(Dec. 19, 2015) Equipment Operator Wyatt Lofink of Carthage, N.Y., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, uses a pressure washer to clean the Pioneer rock crusher. The cleaning is a routine maintenance and preventative check done by the NMCB 3 to ensure the Pioneer rock crusher is in good working order. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 is homeported in Port Hueneme, Calif., and is currently deployed to Okinawa, Japan. Its mission is to support Navy and joint forces throughout the U.S. Pacific Command with construction projects and humanitarian missions in more than 13 different geographical locations.
