Gun trucks of the Contingency Operating Location Q-West force protection company park on the outskirts of Ejbah, a small village near base during a presence patrol, Dec. 15. The Soldiers belong to 1st Squad, 1st Platoon, A Company, 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, 155th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, out of Hernando, Miss. During the mission, they shared treats with the village children, demonstrating one of their methods for varying an otherwise repetitive mission, thus combating complacency.
