    1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division Public Affairs

    Sgt. Matthew Colello, a scout sniper with 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division (Advise and Assist Brigade), also functions as assistant mayor at Contingency Operating Site Ubaydi, Iraq, Dec. 5, 2009. In addition to ensuring that water, garbage and maintenance services function on the small post, Colello also helps to coordinate the improvement of living conditions.
