A self-propelled artillery vehicle, consistent with an M109 Paladin howitzer, is positioned in an open arid field with sparse vegetation. The vehicle is painted in desert tan camouflage and has its large-caliber barrel oriented to the left. Mountains and a clear blue sky form the backdrop, suggesting a southwestern U.S. desert training environment.
