Bruce Heilman, a World War II veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor, gives a speech during the opening ceremony of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade at Fort DeRussy Park in Honolulu, Dec. 7, 2015. Heilman enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1944 as a tail gunner, at the age of 17. Civilians, veterans and service members came together to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor and pay their respects to those who lost their lives.
