151125-N-OE749-016 NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI, Japan (November 25, 2015) A young boy jumps with excitement as his father’s jet taxis in during a homecoming ceremony at Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi’s flight line. VFA 102 along with Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW 5) returned home after a routinely scheduled patrol embarked on the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The carrier and CVW 5 provide a combat ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in Indo-Asia-Pacific.
