Spc. Jackie L. Johnson, III, a driver with the Quick Reaction Force and a Hernando, Miss., native, receives a vaccination for the H1N1 flu virus from Sgt. Julia R. Goins, a senior medic and a Jackson, Miss., native, Nov. 28 at the base defense operations center at Contingency Operating Location Q-West, Iraq. Both are members of A Company, 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, a Mississippi Army National Guard unit out of Hernando, Miss., serving as the Q-West force protection company. The 15th Sustainment Brigade out of Fort Hood, Texas, is overseeing the vaccination program for its subordinate battalions, with a goal of 100 percent completion by Dec. 31.
