Romanian Soldiers engage targets during a combined arms live-fire exercise at the Grafenwoehr Training Area in Germany Nov. 19. The Romanian company spent a month exercising with the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division as a part of Combined Resolve V, a U.S. Army Europe-directed multinational exercise with more than 4,000 participants from 10 NATO and partner nations. The CALFEX was the culminating event that boosted the unit’s ability to integrate maneuver and fires with our allies and partners.
