SOUTH CHINA SEA (Nov. 15, 2015) A U.S. Sailor with the Essex Amphibious Ready Group is pulled out of the water during a transition of safety divers during a swim call aboard the USS Essex (LHD 2). The Marines and Sailors of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Essex ARG jumped 30-feet into the water and swam to their respective check point. The 15th MEU is currently deployed in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to promote regional stability and security in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
