A U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle lands Nov. 12, 2015, at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Six F-15Es deployed to Incirlik AB from the 48th Fighter Wing based at RAF Lakenheath, UK, to conduct counter-ISIL missions in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. The F-15E Strike Eagle is designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground missions, and specializes in gaining and maintaining air superiority.
