Sailors from 2nd Dental Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group play tennis at the U.S. Embassy housing complex prior to the start of a Thanksgiving celebration hosted by the U.S. Ambassador to Belize, Nov. 26. As a part of the Security Cooperation Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Sailors from the battalion will be setting up an emergent dental clinic for students and parents of Garden City Primary School in Belmopan, Belize. The SCMAGTF is currently deployed on Southern Partnership Station-Amphib with Destroyer Squadron 40 embarked onboard USS Wasp. Southern Partnership Station is part of the Partnership of the Americas Maritime Strategy that focuses on building interoperability and cooperation in the region to meet common challenges.
