During the 81st Regional Support Command Annual Dining Out on Nov. 6, Wendall Clift--one of the last surviving 81st Infantry Division WWII veterans--presents the Bronze Star Medal to Bill and Don Dukes in honor of their father William Everest Dukes. Dukes was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star for his service in WWII for the 81st Infantry Division. Bill Dukes recently discovered that his father qualified and was approved for the Bronze Star Medal.
