Marines and sailors with Company E, Battalion Landing Team 2/6, conduct close-quarter firing drills in the Gulf of Aden aboard the USS Oak Hill, Nov. 7. The live-fire exercise provided an opportunity for the unit to practice marksmanship and increase the unit’s shooting proficiency. The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit is embarked on the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
