Explosive ordnance disposal technicians, attached to Task Force Al Taqaddum and Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command 16.1, position 81 mm high explosive mortars in preparation to conduct a demolition range Oct. 25, 2015, at Al Taqaddum Air Base, Iraq. The EOD technicians safely destroyed several unserviceable 81 mm mortars as a force protection measure to ensure the safety of coalition personnel and resources.
