    Retired U.S. Air Force Col. Jeff Kubiak, assistant professor at U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies, poses for a photo in support of Veterans in Blue, a project launched by the Air Force Public Affairs Agency in order to showcase the veterans that served, Fort Leavenworth, Kan., April 10, 2015. As an officer in the Air Force, Kubiak was a B-1B Lancer instructor pilot and the commander of the 86th Flying Training Squadron, managing a fleet of 59 T-1 aircraft and 29,000-plus annual flying hours in the production of 225 new pilots each year. He would go on to say that teaching is one of his greatest passions, and it has carried over into his civilian profession today.
