SAN DIEGO (Oct. 27, 2015) Chris Connelly the fire chief for the San Diego Federal Fire Department layers a simulated wound on the forehead of a mock victim during a training exercise for an active shooter involving several volunteers and agencies. Sailors from various commands at Naval Base Coronado participated in a three-site, Navy Camp Michal Monsoor, Campo and Boulevard Border Patrol Stations, active-shooter and mass-casualty exercise. Sailors provided feedback and coordinating strategies to officers in an effort to strengthen their crises response capabilities.
