    A rifleman with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment marches in a tactical column during a patrol to a simulated hostile town during crisis response training during Joint Exercise Island Fury held aboard Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Hawaii, Oct. 26, 2015. The four-day exercise involves service members from all branches of the military including the Coast Guard. The service members will conduct crisis response, security, humanitarian and relief operations during the exercise. III Marine Expeditionary Forces provides the United States with a forward-deployed force in readiness in the Pacific Theater, as a globally responsive, expeditionary, and fully scalable Marine Air-Ground Task Force, capable of generating, deploying, and employing forces for crisis response, forward presence, major combat operations, and campaigns.
