The image shows a disorganized outdoor storage area with numerous coiled hoses and cables piled on wooden pallets and gravel ground. Several red-capped connectors or fittings are visible among the hoses, along with wrapped and taped cable ends. The setting appears to be an industrial or construction site, possibly in an arid environment based on the sandy/gravelly terrain.

A "spaghetti" of cables and exposed sockets connects the Contingency Operating Base Basra hospital to its generators Nov. 14. The cables will be reconnected with "straight joints" sealed against moisture and arranged and labeled to prevent future problems. The work at the site is being overseen and planned by the Iraqi Facility Engineering Team, a group of mechanical, civil, electrical and architectural engineers taking over the COB Basra base planning from the Air Force.
