ARABIAN SEA (Oct. 22, 2015) Sailors receive a pallet aboard Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) during an underway replenishment with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197). Rushmore is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (15th MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
