Journalist Liz Sly of the Los Angeles Times, asks questions of mortar platoon paratroopers from 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, one of six battalions of 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division (Advise and Assist Brigade), Nov. 11, 2009, at Camp Ramadi, Iraq. As part of the advise-and-assist brigade, the platoon has been conducting partnered training with soldiers of 1st Iraqi Brigade, 1st Iraqi Army Division at neighboring Camp Ali.
