A mix of civilians and Soldiers of the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team wait to begin the fifth annual Fallen Heroes Half Marathon in Norman, Oklahoma, Oct. 9. The Fallen Hero Half Marathon was started in 2011 to honor 14 Soldiers of 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team killed in Afghanistan. Now, the half marathon honors all 19 Oklahoma Army National Guardsmen who lost their lives while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc.
