NAVAL SUPPORT FACILITY DEVESELU (Oct. 7, 2015) - Chefs "Panini" Pete Blohme and John Conley prepare lunch for personnel stationed aboard Naval Support Facility (NSF) Deveselu with assistance from Sailors, Oct. 7. Navy Entertainment's Celebrity Chef Tour "Messlords" visits Naval Support Facility (NSF) Deveselu Oct. 7, 2015. Chefs "Panini" Pete Blohme and John Conley prepared four meals for the Sailors and civilians stationed here. This was the first Navy Entertainment visit to the installation since the base's establishment in October 2014. The facility provides quality shore support to the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System (AAMDS) and enables the forward operation of U.S. and allied forces. AAMDS is part of Phase II of the European Phased Adaptive Approach to ballistic missile defense, and is scheduled to become fully operational later this year. (U.S. Navy Photo by Lt. Dan Day)
