    III Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Cpl. Evan D. Taylor cycles the next round into the chamber of a M40A5 Sniper Rifle during a shooting competition between Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines at Baengnyeongdo, Republic of Korea, Sept. 11, 2015. Marines from both countries exchanged weapon systems, methods of concealment, and capabilities throughout the training. The exercise was part of Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-13, a bilateral training exercise that enhances the ROK and U.S. alliance, promotes stability on the Korean Peninsula, and strengthens ROK and U.S. military capabilities. Taylor, from Lusby, Maryland, is a scout sniper attached to Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
