ARABIAN SEA (Oct. 6, 2015) Fireman Devon Houston and Engineman Fireman Morgan Rogers work on a main propulsion diesel engine in a main machinery room aboard Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47). Rushmore is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (15th MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
