Approximately 30 Marines with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion conducted a live-fire range utilizing the MK-153 Shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon, or SMAW, at Camp Lejeune, Sept. 29, 2015. The battalion conducted the training to help familiarize the Marines with the weapons system in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
