U.S. Soldiers from the South Carolina Army National Guard’s 266th Engineer Detachment from the McCrady Training Center, pump fresh water into the main and sewer systems to replenish the supply at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, S.C., during a statewide flood response, Oct. 5, 2010. The South Carolina National Guard has been activated to support state and county emergency management agencies and local first responders as historic flooding impacts counties statewide.
