ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 29, 2015) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Wilmary Rivera from Bronx, N.Y., instructs Sailors aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) on CPR techniques. Rivera was inspired to join the Navy when she almost lost her life in 911 had she not run late for work that morning. Rivera hopes to make chef and wishes to be physicians assistant when she retires.
