    Brig. Gen. Edward D. Banta, commanding general of Marine Corps Installations West presents a Malaysian naval officer with a certificate for completing the Non-lethal Weapons Executive Seminar, Sept. 18, 2015. NOLES is an annual exercise hosted by U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and is the U.S. Pacific Command's premier multilateral theater security cooperation event for non-lethal weapons. Non-lethal weapons and tactics provide options for U.S. Marines and partner nation militaries while operating in the full spectrum of warfare.
