Djibouti Port Both Busy and Strategic

An entry control point at Djibouti Port is guarded by U.S. Army Specialists Juana Diaz (left) and Jose Cora while the USS Rentz was moored nearby. The Djibouti Port is a strategic, maritime passage between the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. Both Army specialists and the mounted gunner are members of the 1/65th Infantry Battalion, Charlie Company, which is the security force for Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
