The first group of runners participating in the 4th Annual Marine Corps Marathon (Forward) sprint through the starting line aboard Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Oct. 25, 2009. Service members stationed throughout Iraq came for the event and ran 26.2 miles to complete it.
