A group of military personnel in combat gear and camouflage uniforms are conducting an amphibious beach landing exercise, wading through shallow water toward shore while carrying rifles. Behind them, a US Navy utility boat designated 'UB-31' is beached or near-beached with additional personnel aboard, including both uniformed military and civilians in blue vests. The weapons appear to have colored training muzzle attachments, indicating this is a training exercise rather than a combat operation.
