Soldiers with the 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division place thick sheets of wood up and down the ramp of a C-5 Galaxy during an emergency deployment response exercise Sept. 11 at Fort Hood, Texas. After prepping the aircraft, the Soldiers practiced loading their vehicles and chaining them down inside the cargo hold.
