150825-N-ZZ999-001 BARKING SANDS, Hawaii (August 25, 2015) - Utilitiesman 2nd Class Erick Martin, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, prepares two mooring lines for attachment to an anchor system to allow a cable ship to work in different weather conditions and water depths. UCT 2's Construction Dive Detachment Charlie (CDDC) is performing subsea cable maintenance at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF). CDDC is on the first stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the Pacific Fleet.
