150904-N-AT101-005 SANTA FE COLON, Honduras (Sept. 4, 2015) Army veterinarians, veterinary technicians along with volunteers from the non-governmental organization (NGO) World Vets, both assigned to the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), tour the Campo Del Mar Park System during a subject matter expert exchange in support of Continuing Promise 2015 (CP-15). World Vets volunteers are working alongside other NGOs and joint military members during CP-15. Continuing Promise is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet-conducted deployment to conduct civil-military operations including humanitarian-civil assistance, subject matter expert exchanges, medical, dental, veterinary and engineering support and disaster response to partner nations and to show U.S. support and commitment to Central and South America and the Caribbean.
