Volkov Alexey, representing the Kyrgyz State Agency on Physical Culture and Sports, pushes 405 pounds of weight during a friendly bench press competition between Airmen at the Transit Center at Manas and Kyrgyz athletes Oct. 18, 2009. The delegate of seven Kyrgyz weightlifters visited the Airmen of the 376th Expeditionary Wing, who put their fitness to test along with the Kyrgyz team of athletes. The competition is the first of the sporting events to foster friendly relationships between the citizens of the two nations.
