    Various Marine Corps aircraft are spread out along the runways of Al Asad, Iraq. With more than 7,000 Marines, Sailors and Soldiers occuping the base there rarely is a silent and peaceful moment. This 30-minute window during a brisk morning sunrise captured that peacefulness that is rare here.
