F/A-18D Hornets with Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224 taxi onto the flight line Sept. 3. The squadron is slated to deploy to the Western Pacific Region to support multinational exercises to improve interoperability with our allies, and expose Marines to various training environments. VMFA(AW)-224 is a part of Marine Aircraft Group 31.
