GREAT LAKES, Ill., (September 1, 2015) – Cardboard boat captains maneuver their cardboard boats to the first buoy marker during a free-for-all race in 2015 Great Lakes Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Cardboard Boat Regatta on Lake Michigan at Seabee Park here, Sept. 1. Naval Service Training Command’s (NSTC) cardboard boat (behind USS Goathouse) is piloted by Lt. Sean Brophy. Other crewmembers included Cmdr. Scott Norton, Lt. Dan Golde and Lt. Brent Bondurant.
