KUWAIT (Aug. 25, 2015) U.S. Marines Cpl. Forrest Schmidt, left, Sgt. Jorge Castro, and Lance Cpl. Joey Hocker rehearse fire-direction center drills during sustainment training. Schmidt and Castro are section leaders and Hocker is a team leader, all with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. These Marines trained around the clock to sharpen individual skills in their craft. Elements of the 15th MEU are ashore in Kuwait for sustainment training to maintain and enhance the skills they developed during their pre-deployment training period. The 15th MEU is embarked with the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
