Clay Pendergrass, commanding officer, Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS), presents a 'command paddle' to the Honorable Marcia S. Bernicat, U.S. Ambassador to Bangladesh, during NAVSCIATTS' Strategic Level Small Craft Combating Terrorism Course (SLC) graduation ceremony. During the course, 15 officers from four partner nations received training on the strategic theory of standing-up, manning, training, equipping, resourcing, employing and sustaining a "Combatting Terrorism" unit. NAVSCIATTS is U.S. Special Operations Command's International Center specializing in mobile and in-resident training across the tactical, operational and strategic spectrums strengthening partner nation capabilities and capacity.
