    MANAMA, Bahrain (Aug. 15, 2015) – Search and Rescue (SAR) swimmers assigned to the Desert Hawks of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26 wait for takeoff in an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter prior to conducting SAR training in the Arabian Gulf. SAR swimmers play a key role in personnel safety and mission readiness of U.S. Naval Operations. HSC-26 is a Forward Deployed Naval Force (FDNF) asset attached to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 53 to provide combat logistics and Search and Rescue (SAR) capabilities throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
