150830-N-XX566-015 PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 30, 2015) - Operations Specialist 2nd Class Chasity Dollar, from Nashville, Tenn., sharpens a pencil in preparation for the September advancement exam aboard USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The command will provide pencils to the Sailors taking the test. Sailors from the John C. Stennis Strike Group recently completed the Composite Training Unit Exercise and Joint Task Force Exercise (COMPTUEX/JTFEX), the final step in certifying to deploy.
