150828-A-ZA034-189 COROCITO, Honduras (Aug. 28, 2015) Sailors and volunteers with the non-governmental organization (NGO) University of California San Diego Pre-Dental Society (UCSD-PDS), both assigned to assigned to Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), organize dental equipment at a medical site established at Centro de Educacion Basica Dr. Jesus Aquilar Paz during Continuing Promise 2015 (CP-15). UCSD-PDS volunteers are working alongside other NGOs and military members during CP-15. Continuing Promise is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet-conducted deployment to conduct civil-military operations including humanitarian-civil assistance, subject matter expert exchanges, medical, dental, veterinary and engineering support and disaster response to partner nations and to show U.S. support and commitment to Central and South America and the Caribbean.
