BANGOR, Wash. (Aug. 28, 2015) – Capt. Benjamin Pearson, from Gig Harbor, Wash., departs after being relieved by Capt. Gustavo Gutierrez, from Miami, as Gold crew commanding officer of the Ohio-class guided-missile submarine USS Michigan (SSGN 727). Michigan is currently undergoing a Major Maintenance Period at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Training Facility, following a 20-month deployment.
