GULF OF ADEN (Aug. 26, 2015) U.S. Marine Sgt. Carl Provost repairs a half shaft seal on an M1161 Internally Transportable Vehicle aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23). Provost is a motor transportation maintenance chief with the Command Element, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Elements of the 15th MEU are embarked aboard the Anchorage, part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, and are deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
