U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Mark Korte, a Soldier assigned to the 386th Movement Control Team, 39th Transportation Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, helps a Polish soldier into a van in a simulated “kidnapping” during Survive, Escape, Resist, and Evade (SERE) training at the Wedrzyn Training Area, Poland, Aug. 27, 2015. The U.S. Soldiers participated in the training in order to help prepare Polish soldiers for their deployment to Afghanistan. The U.S. military presence in Poland is part of Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing multinational partnership focused on combined training and security cooperation between NATO allies.
