Maj. Gen. William Hickman, the U.S. Army Central deputy commanding general of Operations, gives an overview of the roles and responsibilities of USARCENT during the closing of the Central and South Asia Land Forces Symposium, Aug. 20, at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. “I think it is important that we train our forces to know the kind of fight they’re getting into,” said Hickman on the topic of developing strategy, policy and subject matter experts.
