Pvt. Shane Polutchko, a paratrooper with the U.S. Army's 173rd Airborne Brigade, conducts a pre-flight inspection on his RQ7B 'Shadow' unmanned aerial system Aug. 25, 2015, in Yavoriv, Ukraine. The paratroopers conducted a class, as part of Fearless Guardian, with soldiers from the Ukrainian national guard showing the capabilities of the Shadow and some techniques for concealing themselves from the UAS. The paratroopers are in Ukraine for the second of several planned rotations to train Ukraine's newly-formed national guard as part of Fearless Guardian, which is scheduled to last through November.
